I'm not much of a TV watcher, especially not Grey's Anatomy, my loyalty will always belong with early E.R. but I managed to (hear more than) watch the episode where the narrater and I guess main character Meredith makes this statement.
As graduation and the "real world" loom nearer it is unfathomable that I am about to graduate from college.
- I have married friends
- When someone is pregnant, it seems weird to follow it up with "...but they're married so it's ok." but it also seems weird not to.
- I have friends with real jobs, benefits, and insurance
- My birthday/Christmas presents revolve (mostly) around practicality
- The idea of moving away from a town I've lived in for basically my whole life is both welcomed and terrifying - Unlike the majority of college students I have never had to start over, orient myself to a foreign environment, find a new hair stylist, dentist, acclimate to new restaurants and shopping
- I'm planning out serious post-graduation events in my life that will last forever :)
It's a strange feeling to realize that you are growing up. When do we "stop"? When are we fully adults?
